The Ferrari SF90 Spider is an absolutely stunning supercar and the first-ever Ferrari convertible to feature a plug-in hybrid system, combining a gasoline engine with electric power.
This innovative technology comes at a cost, with the Ferrari SF90 Spider priced at a premium, double that of other Ferrari supercars. However, this didn’t deter Nguyen Quoc Cuong, popularly known as Cuong “Dollar”, a passionate Ferrari enthusiast.
Cuong “Dollar” proudly owns this breathtaking convertible supercar, acquired through an official distributor. The price tag for this beauty is a whispered 55 billion VND, a substantial sum for any aspiring supercar enthusiast. This convertible has been a loyal companion to Cuong “Dollar” and his wife for many years, and it is also the most expensive car in the collection of this businessman from Gia Lai.
Recently, Cuong “Dollar” was spotted cruising through the streets of Ho Chi Minh City in his Ferrari SF90 Spider to meet up with friends. Currently, only two Ferrari SF90 Spiders have arrived in the country, with Cuong “Dollar” and the prominent businessman Jacky as their proud owners, the latter opting for a red exterior.
Compared to the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, the Ferrari SF90 Spider boasts a retractable hardtop that can be lowered in just 14 seconds, even while the car is in motion, provided the speed doesn’t exceed 50 km/h. Additionally, the Spider features a small window and conveniently placed buttons to control the roof and windows, all neatly arranged at the bottom of the central control panel.
Even while driving, Cuong “Dollar” can effortlessly lower the roof to enjoy the breeze and the beautiful sky, all without having to pull over. Under the hood, the Ferrari SF90 Spider is a beast, powered by a V8 engine with a displacement of 4.0 liters and twin-turbocharged, coupled with three electric motors, producing a staggering 986 horsepower.
The internal combustion engine contributes 769 horsepower, while the electric motors add an extra 217 horsepower. The Ferrari SF90 Spider delivers a jaw-dropping maximum torque of 900 Nm. With this incredible power, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.
