From March 22 to 23, 2025, at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, Porsche Vietnam officially launched the 2025 upgraded version of the iconic 911, a car that has endured for over 60 years and shows no signs of slowing down.
Although the price of the 2025 Porsche 911 upgrade was significantly higher than its predecessor, it didn’t stop a Hanoi tycoon from adding a stunning convertible to his garage.
The Hanoi businessman’s Porsche 911 Cabriolet is a gorgeous gray, and instead of opting for black double stripes to make a statement, he chose a black soft top to enhance its elegance. As convertible Porsches are rare in Vietnam, and the sunroof option, priced at over 200 million VND, helps combat the intense heat, it’s a unique choice.
The car’s dual-spoke rims exude strength and are an upgrade from the standard rims. This Porsche 911 likely has options worth over 1.2 billion VND. Currently, the Porsche 912.2 starts at 9.64 billion VND.

Porsche has refined the 911’s exterior design with carefully selected details, most of which aim to improve aerodynamics and overall performance. The standard 911 LED Matrix headlights now integrate turn signals, eliminating the need for front auxiliary lights, and feature larger cooling air intakes at the front.
Porsche offers new headlights with HD-Matrix LED technology, boasting over 32,000 pixels. These upgraded lights can illuminate distances of over 600 meters and offer additional functions such as curve lighting that adapts to driving modes, lane and corner illumination, construction site and narrow lane warning, and anti-glare high beams with pixel-precise accuracy.
The redesigned taillights feature an integrated light bar and the ‘PORSCHE’ logo, giving the 911’s rear a deeper and more powerful look. The rear grille has also been redesigned with five fins on each side, seamlessly blending with the rear window when the retractable wing is retracted.
The interior of the new 911 by Porsche has a standard two-seat layout. For the first time, a new start button appears on the 911, positioned to the left of the steering wheel. The 911 features an all-digital instrument cluster, offering seven display modes, including a Classic display exclusive to the 911, inspired by its traditional design with five round instruments, with a central tachometer.
Porsche’s Communication Management (PCM) system continues to be operated via the high-resolution central screen, now measuring 10.9 inches. The new Porsche 911 also features a new wireless smartphone charging function.
The Porsche 911 Cabriolet 992.2 is equipped with a refined 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine, reducing emissions and increasing power to 290 kW (394 PS) and a maximum torque of 450 Nm. The new 911 Carrera accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds (3.9 seconds with the Sport Chrono package) and has a top speed of 294 km/h.
