The Porsche 911 Dakar is a rare breed, with only 2,560 units produced globally, and one of its proud owners is H.A.N, a businessman from Hai Phong City. In just under two years of ownership, he has driven his sporty ride over 80,000 km, an impressive feat for any car.
On his third trip to China, H.A.N embarked on an exciting journey of exploration with his Porsche 911 Dakar, covering significant distances and clocking up the miles. But the exact number remains a mystery.
Putting an end to the suspense, H.A.N shared that after two months of traveling in China, his Porsche 911 Dakar’s odometer read 83,888 km. With continued use, it’s likely to hit the remarkable 100,000 km mark this year or the next.
This Porsche 911 Dakar is one of the fastest-accumulating mileage examples globally, and at the time of writing, H.A.N has only owned the car for 21 months.
One of the key strengths of the Porsche 911 Dakar is its higher ground clearance, approximately 50 mm more than the standard model, which enables the Hai Phong businessman to tackle various terrains with ease.

Additionally, the Porsche 911 Dakar can further increase its ground clearance by 30 mm in High-Level mode, designed for off-road use and activated via a knob on the steering wheel. This feature allows the car to glide over speed bumps and potholes without scraping the underside.
Upon taking delivery of the car, H.A.N’s Porsche 911 Dakar was adorned with a new decal featuring red and yellow accents on the original GT Silver Metallic paint. The numbers ’19’ were also added to both sides and the front trunk lid, representing the owner’s birthdate.
This particular Porsche 911 Dakar bears the serial number 1,904 out of 2,500 globally. The number ’19’ represents the owner’s birth date, and ’04’ is the birth month.
The Porsche 911 Dakar is a limited-edition model, with only 2,560 units produced worldwide. It is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine that delivers 473 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque.
This engine is paired with an 8-speed PDK automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and rear-axle steering, enabling the Porsche 911 Dakar to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. The car’s top speed is electronically limited to 240 km/h.
