Mazda has revealed more details about its upcoming all-electric SUV, the EZ-60.

This is the second vehicle developed through the collaboration between Mazda and Changan Automobile, following the EZ-6 electric sedan.

First introduced at the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show last month, the Mazda EZ-60 has already generated a lot of buzz, with over 18,000 orders from Chinese customers in just a few weeks.

The all-electric Mazda EZ-60 is powered by a 255-horsepower electric motor, enabling a top speed of 115 mph. It utilizes LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries, renowned for their longevity and cost-effectiveness.

According to recent announcements, the Mazda EZ-60 offers an impressive maximum range of up to 373 miles on a single charge, as per the CLTC test cycle. To put this into perspective, the Tesla Model Y Juniper rear-wheel drive (RWD) variant has a range of about 368 miles, while the all-wheel drive (AWD) version can reach up to 447 miles under the same CLTC standard.

Positioned in the mid-size SUV segment, the EZ-60 boasts dimensions of 191 x 76 x 64 inches, along with a generous wheelbase of 114 inches, promising a spacious and comfortable cabin.

The Mazda EZ-60’s cockpit is a step up from its sibling, the EZ-6, featuring a large 26.45-inch central infotainment screen that dominates the dashboard. The top-tier trim also includes digital mirrors, projecting the rearview directly onto the screen instead of using traditional mirrors, offering a futuristic driving experience.
