The McLaren 650S Spider MSO is an exclusive supercar, with only 50 units produced globally. Each car boasts unique features and a price tag that is 1.9 billion VND more expensive than the standard model. Currently, there is only one McLaren 650S Spider MSO in Vietnam.
However, over the years, this McLaren 650S Spider MSO has rarely been spotted on the roads. This is not surprising, as its owner is a businessman in the consumer goods industry, who owns a collection of dozens of supercars of various makes and models. As such, the McLaren 650S Spider MSO is not his go-to choice for a drive.
This rare McLaren 650S Spider MSO that entered the Vietnamese market features a unique paint job in Sarigan Quartz, one of three exclusive colors offered by McLaren Special Operations (MSO) for this limited-edition supercar. The other two color options are Papaya Spark and Agrigan Black.
In addition to its distinctive paint color, the McLaren 650S Spider MSO also stands out with its lightweight multi-spoke alloy wheels and titanium bolts. The MSO branding on the side skirts and door sills further sets it apart from the standard McLaren 650S Spider models seen on Vietnamese roads.
These lightweight wheels are four kilograms lighter than the standard ones. Notably, MSO has left the engine untouched, with the supercar still powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 641 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque.
The rare convertible is equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds and reach a top speed of 328 km/h.
