While the Lamborghini Aventador S is a well-known presence in the Vietnamese market, with the first car being a bright yellow model owned by a prominent social media personality, fewer people are aware of the existence of a stealthy black Aventador S.

This black Lamborghini Aventador S has been in Vietnam for over six years, but its owner rarely takes it out on the roads. The car was imported officially and cost 45 billion VND. It took nearly two to three years to complete the paperwork to get the car on the road.

According to the writer’s memory, on the day this supercar was towed from the showroom in District 7 to a registration check station on Huynh Tan Phat street, the media was also capturing images of the first Aston Martin DBX luxury SUV in the country, which was white.

This particular Aventador S features a glossy black exterior, a stark contrast to the matte black finish of the Lamborghini Aventador S LP740-4 that was spotted in Hai Phong port in early 2020 and has since been exported to a third country. The car’s exterior is accentuated by matching black rims and yellow brake calipers that add a pop of color.

The black Lamborghini Aventador S LP740-4, which recently reappeared in Ho Chi Minh City, is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, similar to the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4.

However, it has been tuned to produce a maximum output of 740 horsepower, an increase of 40 horsepower over the standard version. Unfortunately, the torque remains unchanged at 690 Nm.

All that power is sent to both axles through a 7-speed ISR gearbox, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 350 km/h. The Aventador S’s rear wing automatically deploys at speeds above 80 km/h, but the driver can also manually raise it while the car is stationary with the push of a button inside the cockpit.
