A Whopping 4% Discount on All Electric Vehicles
VinFast, a prominent Vietnamese automotive manufacturer, has once again captured the attention of the automotive industry with its third iteration of the “Vietnamese Spirit – For a Green Future” campaign. As of May 22nd, VinFast is offering a 4% discount to all customers purchasing electric vehicles, a bold move that underscores the company’s commitment to making electric vehicles more accessible to the masses.
In addition to this, VinFast has also adjusted the prices of its electric motorcycle models, making them significantly more affordable than their gasoline-powered counterparts in the same segment. This inclusive policy extends beyond the company’s previous exclusive offers for select loyal partners.
“VinFast’s electric vehicle prices were already competitive, but these new discounts make them even more attractive compared to gasoline-powered cars,” says Le Thanh Nguyen, an avid follower of the electric vehicle market.
Nguyen highlights the example of the VF 7 model, where customers not only benefit from the 4% nationwide partner discount but also enjoy additional practical advantages, such as incentives for switching from gasoline to electric vehicles or loyalty point programs for green adopters in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. With the added benefit of exemption from registration fees, the VF 7 now has an incredibly low driving cost of just over VND 730 million, a significant saving compared to C-SUV gasoline models in the same class. This pattern is consistent across VinFast’s entire electric vehicle range, offering unprecedented value for money when compared to gasoline vehicles.
“Making electric vehicles affordable is the most practical and quickest way to encourage customers to go green,” says Nguyen. “By increasing the popularity of electric vehicles, we can reduce air pollution in our major cities and reclaim the blue skies for ourselves and our children.”
According to numerous studies, transportation emissions account for approximately 56% of Hanoi’s air pollution. Nguyen Hoai Thu, a resident of Hanoi, shares that due to her family’s respiratory issues, they have to relocate to Nha Trang for three to four months every year to escape the peak period of severe air pollution.
“We can’t keep running away forever because soon enough, everywhere will be heavily polluted if we continue relying on gasoline vehicles,” says Thu. “Choosing VinFast electric vehicles is my way of taking action and encouraging my loved ones, friends, and others to do the same.”
