The Mitsubishi DST Concept made its debut at the 2024 Philippines International Auto Show in October last year. Now, Mitsubishi has confirmed plans to introduce this concept car in Vietnam. Accordingly, Mitsubishi is expected to showcase and introduce the DST Concept to Vietnamese customers in Long Bien, Hanoi, over three days from June 6-8, 2025.
Mitsubishi DST Concept is scheduled to launch in Vietnam.
The Mitsubishi DST Concept is regarded as the commercial version of the Xforce seven-seater. According to some sources, the commercial version of this model will be sold in Vietnam by the end of this year at a price of under VND 1 billion. This model is likely to replace the Mitsubishi Outlander, which has low sales in Vietnam and has not been upgraded for a long time.
Targeting customers in the ASEAN market, the commercial version of the Mitsubishi DST Concept is likely to feature a hybrid powertrain similar to the Xforce. If so, it will be equipped with a 1.5L four-cylinder gasoline engine, a CVT automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive. However, it is unclear if there will be any upgrades to accommodate the larger body and heavier load of the vehicle.
In February 2025, the commercial version of the Mitsubishi DST Concept was also test-driven on the streets of Indonesia. Unfortunately, the car was heavily camouflaged, so we still don’t know much about the design and features of the Mitsubishi Xforce seven-seater.

It wouldn’t be surprising if the Mitsubishi Xforce seven-seater features a more restrained design than the DST Concept to appeal to commercial vehicle buyers. It will also likely use conventional exterior mirrors instead of digital cameras as seen on the concept version.
The Mitsubishi Xforce seven-seater is expected to feature a large grille and vertically oriented headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, similar to the Xforce five-seater. It will also have a wide central air intake with a rectangular design and fog lights on the front bumper. The side body lines, wheel arches, taillights, and rear bumper of the Xforce seven-seater are also expected to resemble those of its five-seater sibling.
The commercial version of the DST Concept is likely to share design elements with the Mitsubishi Xforce five-seater.
The most significant difference between the Mitsubishi Xforce seven-seater and the five-seater is in the side profile. The seven-seater features a larger third window, indicating the presence of a third row of seats. Additionally, it comes with a roof rack, which is not available on the five-seater model.
Inside, the Mitsubishi Xforce seven-seater is likely to share some features with the five-seater, such as a multifunction steering wheel, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium eight-speaker audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear air vents, nanoeX air purification, wireless phone charging, and USB Type-A/Type-C ports, and ambient lighting.
Mitsubishi has stated that the Xforce seven-seater will join its lineup in the Southeast Asian market, alongside the Xforce, Pajero Sport, and Xpander Cross. In other words, it is not intended to directly replace any existing Mitsubishi SUV.
