Select Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City are offering significant discounts on the luxurious E-Class sedan, with savings of up to hundreds of millions of VND.

The standard Mercedes-Benz E 180 is now available at an attractive price of approximately 1.77 billion VND, a substantial reduction from the listed price of 2.099 billion VND. The higher-tier E 200 and E 300 AMG versions are also on offer, with respective prices of around 1.96 billion and 2.27 billion VND, compared to the official website prices of 2.519 billion and 2.999 billion VND.

The highest discount reaches nearly 680 million VND, making it one of the most generous promotions for the E-Class in the Vietnamese market in recent years. However, prices may vary depending on the policies of individual dealerships.

It’s important to note that all discounted E-Class vehicles are from the 2023 production year and have been on the market for over a year. They feature refinements in design and equipment while retaining the familiar configuration, including the dual-screen setup, new steering wheel design, and a 2.0L engine with variations depending on the model. A 9-speed automatic transmission is standard across the range.

The deep discounts on the previous-generation E-Class make sense as the all-new E-Class is poised to enter the Vietnamese market. In April 2024, an E-Class of the latest generation was spotted at an emissions testing center in Hanoi, indicating an imminent product transition. Whether it was an individually imported car or part of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam’s launch preparations remains unknown.

The E-Class of the newest generation, introduced globally in 2023, boasts a significantly more modern design. Its exterior takes inspiration from the EQS, while the interior marks a radical departure with a tech-focused dashboard layout, a distinct evolution from the traditional dual-screen setup of the current model.

The impending arrival of the new E-Class in Vietnam will spark fresh competition in the mid-size luxury sedan segment. With BMW also expected to launch the new 5 Series this year, the market may witness dynamic pricing and sales strategies as these two powerhouse models go head-to-head.
