June 2025: Ford Vietnam Introduces a 100% Registration Fee Waiver for the Territory, Equivalent to a Cash Discount of 75.9 – 88.9 million VND

This is the biggest promotion for the Ford Territory so far this year. The offer is applicable nationwide, with a registration fee of 10% of the listed price.

After the discount, the Ford Territory Trend will be priced at 683.1 million VND, the Titanium version reduced from 849 million to 764.1 million VND, the Sport version from 869 million to 782.1 million VND, and the Titanium X version from 889 million to 800.1 million VND.

Notably, the post-discount price of the Trend version is now even lower than that of competitors in the lower segment, such as the Hyundai Creta Premium and the Mitsubishi Xforce Ultimate, both priced at around 705 million VND. This strategy of offering a C-segment CUV at a price lower than B-segment rivals highlights the intense competition in the mass market segment.

The Ford Territory is positioned in the C-segment CUV category, competing directly with the Mazda CX-5, Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson, and Kia Sportage. Among these competitors, the Mazda CX-5 is currently the best-selling model, consistently leading in segment-wide sales.

However, with its deep discount strategy and the upcoming major upgrade, the Ford Territory promises to be a formidable contender. This is especially true given that car companies are adjusting their prices to remain competitive during the typically slower first half of the year.

Although not officially announced, the upgraded Territory is expected to address some shortcomings in terms of equipment and design, making it more appealing to Vietnamese consumers. If Ford can combine competitive pricing with product improvements, the Territory could make a strong comeback in the sales race against the Mazda CX-5 in the second half of 2025.
