One of the most impressive redesigned garages in Vietnam belongs to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong, popularly known as Cuong “Dollar”. His luxurious villa is located in the affluent Phu My Hung urban area in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
Cuong “Dollar” renovated his house after more than a decade, with a highlight being the addition of an underground garage. The garage is accessed by a car lift, adding a touch of class to this mountain town billionaire’s car collection.
Recently, Cuong “Dollar” shared a glimpse of his home office, with a stunning view of his limited-edition Porsche 911 Sport Classic sports car. This rare vehicle is one of only 1,250 produced globally, with just two in Vietnam.
Cuong “Dollar” ordered the Porsche 911 Sport Classic back in 2022 and has only had it for two years. Despite that, he has already taken it on extended trips, with the longest being from Ho Chi Minh City to Quy Nhon. He also expressed his desire to reach an impressive 100,000 km odometer reading, which may prove challenging given his busy work schedule and the car’s manual transmission.
While the Porsche 911 Sport Classic is already a stunning car, Cuong “Dollar”, with his passion for automobiles, decided to take it a step further. He opted for a set of HRE custom wheels to give the car an even more distinctive look.
The HRE wheels feature a similar five-spoke single design as the original wheels but with a larger size and a polished finish. They also include a carbon fiber rim edge and center lock, a unique feature that was available on the original vehicle.
The Porsche 911 Sport Classic has a starting price of 19.22 billion VND in Vietnam. It is a limited-edition model with only 1,250 units produced worldwide, including two in Vietnam, both in Sport Gray Metallic color. Eighty-five percent of customers who purchased this model chose this elegant shade. Cuong “Dollar” chose the serial number 1202/1250 for his car, with the number 82 on the door, representing his birth date, 12/02/82.
This limited-edition Porsche 911 Sport Classic is powered by a 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that delivers 542 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 315 km/h.
