In June 2025, Ford Vietnam introduced a promotional program offering a 100% registration fee waiver for the Territory model, equivalent to a cash discount of up to VND 75.9 – 88.9 million, depending on the version.

This is the biggest promotion for the Ford Territory so far this year. The program offers a nationwide discount on the registration fee, which is calculated at 10% of the listed price.

After the discount, the Ford Territory Trend will be priced at VND 683.1 million, the Titanium version will be reduced from VND 849 million to VND 764.1 million, the Sport version will go down from VND 869 million to VND 782.1 million, and the Titanium X will see a price drop from VND 889 million to VND 800.1 million.

Notably, the post-discount price of the Territory Trend is now even lower than some models in the smaller B-segment, such as the Hyundai Creta Premium and the Mitsubishi Xforce Ultimate, both priced around VND 705 million. This aggressive pricing strategy highlights the intense competition in the mass market segment.

The Ford Territory is positioned in the C-segment CUV category, competing directly with the Mazda CX-5, Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson, and Kia Sportage. Among these rivals, the Mazda CX-5 currently leads in sales, consistently topping the segment’s sales charts.

However, with its deep discounts and the upcoming launch of an upgraded version, the Ford Territory is poised to become a formidable competitor. This strategy is especially timely as automakers adjust their pricing strategies during the typically slower first half of the year.

While the details of the upgraded Territory have not been officially announced, it is expected to address some of the model’s shortcomings and refine its design to better cater to Vietnamese consumers’ preferences. If Ford can combine competitive pricing with product enhancements, the Territory may stage a strong comeback in the sales race against the Mazda CX-5 in the second half of 2025.
