The Aston Martin DB11 V8 is a rare luxury sports car that competes with rivals outside of its class, such as the Bentley Continental GT, Porsche 911 Turbo S, and Audi R8.

With its noble design, luxurious interior, and 45-degree gull-wing doors, the Aston Martin DB11 V8 is a favorite among Vietnamese tycoons. Nearly 12 of these cars have been imported into the country and quickly found their owners.

There is one particular Aston Martin DB11 V8 that stands out despite its unique paint color and low mileage. This car, in China Grey, has changed hands five times in the past five months, with only two genuine buyers and the rest being resellers.

Most recently, this luxury sports car was purchased by a reseller in Ho Chi Minh City from a used car showroom in Hanoi and is now being openly offered for sale at a price of nearly 10 billion VND, which is almost 2 billion VND cheaper than at the beginning of the year.

The last time this Aston Martin DB11 V8 found a true owner was at the beginning of this year when a businessman in Hanoi bought it, registered it with the plate number 30M, but then quickly sold it to a showroom in Hanoi just a few months later.

In terms of design, the Aston Martin DB11 has a “shell-shaped” hood made from a single piece of aluminum. To differentiate between the V8 and V12 versions, the British luxury carmaker added two air intakes to the V8 model, compared to four on the V12. This can be seen on the Aston Martin DB11s currently on the roads in Vietnam.

The Aston Martin DB11’s trunk is equipped with a transparent glass panel that offers a clear view of the interior cockpit. Above this glass panel is a brake light. The car also features a Virtual Spoiler, which enhances its aerodynamic performance.

The rear of the Aston Martin DB11 sports a pair of LED taillights in the shape of the letter C, which demands attention. Unlike the Aston Martin Vanquish, the DB11’s taillights are much thinner, and the base of the C shape extends to the rear trunk.

All the Aston Martin DB11 luxury sports cars in Vietnam are equipped with a V8 engine, twin-turbocharged, with a displacement of 4.0 liters, produced by Mercedes-AMG. The reason for this choice is the more favorable special consumption tax rate.

This powerhouse delivers a maximum output of 510 horsepower and a peak torque of 675 Nm. The engine in the Aston Martin DB11 V8 is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF, sending power to the rear wheels, enabling the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 301 km/h.

Aston Martin offers three driving modes for the DB11 V8: GT for a comfortable and smooth ride, Sport for a more dynamic experience, and Sport Plus for the ultimate in performance, where the suspension, steering, transmission, and Torque Vectoring system work together to deliver an exhilarating driving experience.
