It’s already halfway through 2025, but there are still 2023-produced vehicles (with 2023 VINs) in stock at dealerships. A prime example is the Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

To clear out inventory, Mercedes-Benz dealerships in Vietnam are offering significant discounts on their luxury E-Class vehicles with 2023 VINs. A dealership in Hanoi, for instance, is advertising the Mercedes-Benz E-Class E 300 AMG for 2.27 billion VND, a discount of up to 680 million VND from the listed price. Additionally, another dealership is offering a 640 million VND discount on the same model, bringing the price down to 2.31 billion VND. This amount of discount is substantial and could cover the cost of brand-new compact cars like the Honda City, Toyota Vios, or Hyundai Accent.

It’s not just the E 300 AMG that’s seeing discounts; lower-end models of the 2023 VIN Mercedes-Benz E-Class are also on sale at dealerships. The E 180, for example, has been discounted by 230 million VND by one dealer, bringing the price down from 2.05 billion to 1.82 billion VND. Furthermore, another dealership is offering the E 180 for just over 1.7 billion VND, a discount of up to 300 million VND.

For the E 200 Exclusive, the same dealership is offering a 250 million VND discount. While the listed price for this model is 2.31 billion VND, the actual dealership price is 2.06 billion VND.

The new version of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class is expected to be launched in Vietnam this year. Previously, the new model was also spotted at a vehicle emission testing center in the country. It’s no surprise, then, that dealerships are keen to clear out their inventory to make way for the updated version.

The new E-Class features significant design and equipment upgrades. It’s also slightly larger, with a 10 mm increase in length and width, and a 22 mm improvement in wheelbase.

The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Notable features of this luxury sedan include LED lighting from front to back, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, the MBUX infotainment system with a 14.4-inch central touchscreen, a dashboard-mounted camera for taking selfies and videos, the intelligent voice control system “Just Talk” activated by the phrase “Hey Mercedes,” and Active Ambient Lighting, among others.

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class in Vietnam is likely to be powered by a mild hybrid system with a 4-cylinder gasoline engine, producing up to 255 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. A higher-end version of this engine will be capable of delivering 375 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque.

In the Vietnamese market, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class will continue to compete with rivals such as the Audi A6, Lexus ES, and BMW 5-Series.
