The Aston Martin DB11 V8 is a rare luxury sports car, with only a handful of models available in Vietnam and across the globe.
With its British-inspired design, powerful engine, and iconic details, the Aston Martin DB11 V8 is considered an indirect rival to renowned automobiles such as the Bentley Continental GT, Porsche 911 Turbo S, and Audi R8.
The Vietnamese market has witnessed the official importation of approximately 12 DB11 V8s, catering to affluent car enthusiasts. Among them, a DB11 V8 in the unique China Grey exterior color has garnered attention not only for its rare hue but also for its frequent ownership changes. Over the past five months, this particular vehicle has exchanged hands five times, with only two transactions involving genuine users, while the rest were traded among showrooms and traders.
Most recently, a broker in Ho Chi Minh City acquired the luxury sports car from a used car showroom in Hanoi. The China Grey DB11 V8 is now openly advertised for sale at a price of nearly 10 billion VND, a reduction of approximately 2 billion VND from its price at the beginning of 2025.
The last time this vehicle found a genuine owner was at the beginning of the year when a Hanoi-based businessman purchased it and registered the plate number 30M. However, after a few months of use, the car was again sold to a used car dealership in Hanoi before making its way to Ho Chi Minh City.
The Aston Martin DB11 V8 stands out with its elegant and distinctive design. Its clamshell hood is crafted from a single piece of aluminum. The V8 and V12 versions can be distinguished by the number of air intakes: the V8 has two, while the V12 boasts four.
One of the standout features at the rear of the car is the pair of LED taillights in a sharp, slender C-shape, extending towards the trunk. Additionally, the DB11 is equipped with a Virtual Spoiler, enhancing aerodynamics at high speeds. The trunk features a transparent glass panel that visually connects the luggage compartment to the cockpit, a design characteristic of high-end GT cars.
The interior of the DB11 V8 exudes sophistication, adorned with premium materials such as handcrafted leather, fine wood, and intricately engraved metal. The car’s doors open in a unique 45-degree wing-like fashion, adding a touch of ceremony when entering or exiting the vehicle.
All DB11s in Vietnam are equipped with a Mercedes-AMG-produced 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine, rather than the V12 option. This choice not only reduces special consumption tax expenses but also ensures impressive performance.
The V8 engine in the DB11 delivers 510 horsepower and a maximum torque of 675 Nm, coupled with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and has a top speed of 301 km/h.
