VinBus Electric Bus Service Joint Stock Company officially inaugurates and operates Electric Bus Route 43, connecting 30 points from the city center to Dong Anh district and vice versa.

This is the 17th electric bus route launched by VinBus, offering Hanoi residents a safe, civilized, and environmentally friendly transportation option.

Electric Bus Route 43 has a route length of nearly 27 km, passing through the capital’s main traffic arteries, connecting Dong Anh district with the inner city of Hanoi.

The specific route is as follows: Kim Ma (No. 1 Kim Ma) – Giang Vo – Hao Nam – O Cho Dua – Kham Thien – Nguyen Thuong Hien – Tran Binh Trong – Tran Hung Dao – Quang Trung – Ly Thuong Kiet – Phan Chu Trinh – Ly Thai To – Ngo Quyen – Hang Voi – Hang Tre – Hang Muoi – Tran Nhat Duat – Yen Phu – Long Bien Transfer Point – Yen Phu – Tran Nhat Duat – Chuong Duong Bridge – Nguyen Van Cu – Ly Son – Dong Tru Bridge – Truong Sa – Dau Canh Intersection – National Highway 3 – Cao Lo – Dong Anh Town (Dong Anh Xay Sat Intersection) and vice versa.

The buses will operate from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily, with a frequency of 15-20 minutes per trip. The ticket price is VND 12,000 per trip.

The pick-up/drop-off points of the route are reasonably arranged, connecting major transfer points such as Kim Ma Bus Station, Long Bien Transfer Point, and residential areas in Dong Anh such as Vinhomes Global Gate Urban Area (Co Loa). Especially, the bus route directly connects with the Cat Linh – Ha Dong urban railway line, contributing to the formation of a green, synchronized, and convenient public transport system for the people.

Route 43 also offers a convenient journey to the National Exhibition Center – Hanoi’s iconic soon-to-open construction – a new destination for locals and tourists in the coming time.

The operation of Electric Bus Route 43 is another milestone in the project to develop a public transport system using electric buses and green energy in Hanoi, approved by the Hanoi People’s Committee in Decision No. 6004/QD-UBND dated November 18, 2024. It is also a vivid demonstration of the determination to complete the transition to electric buses and green energy across the city by 2030, according to Plan No. 149/KH-UBND recently issued by the Hanoi People’s Committee on May 28, 2025.

In just the first five months of 2025, in addition to VinBus, a series of leading public transport enterprises in Hanoi, such as the Hanoi Transport Corporation (Transerco), Neway Company, Bao Yen Company, and most recently, Hanoi Electric Vehicle Joint Stock Company, and Vietcombank, have actively promoted the transition to electric buses.

The increasing participation of transport units shows that the trend of electrifying public transport means is being promoted, providing Hanoi residents with more green, modern, and environmentally friendly travel options.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Electric Bus Route 43, Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, affirmed: “In recent years, the city has been implementing synchronous solutions to develop a sustainable transport system, including promoting the transition to green energy vehicles. The official operation of Electric Bus Route 43 today is of great importance, contributing to improving the quality of public transport services and improving the urban environment. It is a concrete demonstration of the city’s high political determination and strong practical actions in the process of green energy transition in the field of transportation.”

Mr. Le Khac Hiep, Vice Chairman of Vingroup, the unit operating Electric Bus Route 43, said: “The inauguration of Electric Bus Route 43 marks an important step in expanding VinBus’ green transport network, contributing to the green transition taking place strongly in the capital. This is also a practical response to the ‘For a Green Hanoi’ campaign initiated by Vingroup since the beginning of the year, especially meaningful as it is held on World Environment Day (June 5). Vingroup hopes that more new electric bus routes will be put into operation, making the environment greener, meeting the travel needs, and bringing a better life to the people.”
