The latest-generation Porsche Panamera, offered at a price of over 8 billion VND, has caught the attention of the online community. With a price tag of 6.42 billion VND from the manufacturer, this particular car is nearly 2 billion VND more expensive, leading to suspicions of price gouging.
First off, this is an all-new, unregistered Porsche Panamera, likely a customer order that the original buyer is reselling due to a long wait. The base price of the car is 6.42 billion VND, and additional options total 1.664 billion VND, bringing the total value to 8.08 billion VND.
At this time, it could take up to a year to place an order for a 2025 Porsche Panamera, so this readily available car has attracted a lot of interest. However, the price may be a barrier for potential buyers.
Compared to the previous generation, the most noticeable change in the appearance of the third-generation Porsche Panamera is at the front of the car. It features a narrow upper grille and a wider central air intake. The LED Matrix headlights are now standard and have been redesigned to match the new shape of the front fenders.
Moving to the side profile, Porsche has added new air vents to the front fenders, sharper window lines, and frameless rear windows for the new Panamera. Of course, there are also new wheel designs, including an optional 21-inch set inspired by the Porsche 911 GT3.
The third-generation Porsche Panamera retains the coupe-style sloping roofline of its predecessor. The full-LED taillights are now thinner, and the rear end also features a two-position spoiler and a new rear bumper, reminiscent of the 911 ST.
The interior of the new Porsche Panamera has been modernized with more screens to keep up with market trends and consumer demands. It features three displays, including a fully digital instrument cluster and a 12.6-inch central touchscreen infotainment system, as well as an optional 10.9-inch entertainment screen for front passengers.
Another change is the removal of the traditional gear selector from the center console, replaced by a compact shift lever between the instrument cluster and the infotainment screen. This results in a more minimalist and streamlined design for the central control area.
The standard Porsche Panamera is powered by a 2.9-liter turbocharged V6 engine, producing 348 horsepower and 499 Nm of torque. Compared to the previous generation, this engine is more powerful, with an increase of 23 horsepower and 50 Nm.
