VinFast’s “Trade Gas for Electric” event kicks off in Hai Phong and Da Nang, captivating local residents.
On June 7th, VinFast’s “Trade Gas for Electric” event simultaneously commenced in the cities of Hai Phong and Da Nang. The event will extend until June 8th. This event, organized by VinFast, aims to offer a unique experience and encourage Vietnamese citizens to transition from gasoline-powered vehicles to smart, eco-friendly, and economical electric vehicles.
The “Trade Gas for Electric” event captivates the attention of locals in Hai Phong and Da Nang.
The event encompasses enticing activities such as an exhibition space, free test drives of VinFast’s newest electric motorcycle models, and a lucky draw with attractive prizes, including a Motio electric motorcycle, an air purifier, and two tower fans.
Arriving early at the event with her friends, 24-year-old Nguyen Ngoc Duyen from Hai Phong enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere. “The idea of trading my gasoline-powered motorcycle for an electric one came to me when I learned about VinFast Motio. As a young working adult, the adjusted price of 12 million VND is an opportunity not to be missed. Moreover, my old motorcycle is already 15 years old, emits a lot of smoke, and guzzles gas. Therefore, I want to switch to a greener, cleaner, and more civilized option that aligns with today’s trends,” shared Duyen.
The VinFast Motio model appeals to young customers due to its affordable price.
After test-driving her dream bike, Ms. Ngoc Duyen praised the VinFast Motio for its female-friendly design. Its compact size and appropriate height make it convenient for foot-braking. Motio is also easy to maneuver, as Duyen effortlessly navigated the organizing committee’s cone course on her first attempt at driving.
Phan Gia Hung, a 30-year-old resident of Hai Phong, particularly fancied the Feliz Neo. Comparing it to his current gasoline-powered bike, Hung found the Feliz Neo to be more enjoyable to ride, smoother, and faster in acceleration.
“What impressed me the most was the absence of engine noise. My house is located deep inside a small alley, and whenever I come home late, the loud noise of my gasoline-powered motorcycle disturbs the peace. Sometimes, I have to walk my bike for a long distance to get it into the house quietly. If I switch to an electric motorcycle, I can confidently ride it straight to my home. It’s so much more convenient,” expressed Hung.
VinFast’s motorcycle models receive accolades for their attractive designs and numerous features.
Attending the event in Da Nang, 27-year-old Nguyen Thanh Dat intends to switch to an electric motorcycle to optimize his expenses. Working as a shipper within the city, Dat estimates that he can save 100,000-120,000 VND in gasoline costs daily. This amount helps him cover his daily expenses and save up for future plans.
Dat praised the VinFast Evo Neo for its attractive, modern design and numerous useful features, such as the Full LED lighting system for improved visibility and the IP67-rated waterproof motor, giving riders like him peace of mind when navigating flooded roads.
Many attendees decided to make the green switch during the event.
On June 7 alone, numerous individuals became proud owners of electric vehicles. Besides the advantages in performance and equipment, many were drawn to the special event discount of up to 1 million VND.Â
Additionally, VinFast electric vehicle owners are entitled to free charging at V-GREEN stations nationwide until May 31, 2026.
The event will make its way to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in the coming week.
Following the successful events in Hai Phong and Da Nang, the “Trade Gas for Electric” journey will continue to Royal City in Hanoi and Gia Dinh Park in Ho Chi Minh City on June 14-15. These events will offer opportunities to experience VinFast’s newest electric motorcycle models, engage in exciting activities, participate in lucky draws, and avail of attractive discounts.
