GSM Corporation launches its electric taxi service, Green GSM, in the Philippines, becoming the first electric taxi brand in the country.
The Philippines marks the fourth market entry for GSM, following Vietnam, Laos, and Indonesia, and is a significant step in its Go Green Global strategy to expand its pure electric transportation model internationally.
The launch event was held at the Quezon Memorial Circle, Quezon City, graced by prominent figures such as Ms. Ma. Cristina A. Green GSM will initially operate in 10 out of 16 cities and areas within Metro Manila, the economic, political, and cultural center of the Philippines, serving a population of over 13 million. The fleet consists of modern VinFast Nerio Green electric vehicles, ensuring a smooth and environmentally friendly ride.
The distinctive teal color of the fleet combines green, representing sustainability, and blue, symbolizing pioneering technology. This choice of color reflects Green GSM’s commitment to offering a modern lifestyle in harmony with the environment.
