A batch of Honda SH 350i 2025 units, imported directly from Italy, has recently arrived in Vietnam through a private motorcycle dealership in Ho Chi Minh City.

The importing entity is still in the process of completing the registration procedures and has not announced the pricing details. In Italy, the Honda SH 350i 2025 is priced at €5,990 (approximately VND 175 million). However, due to private import regulations, the actual selling price in Vietnam is expected to be significantly higher, factoring in transportation costs, taxes, and dealer profits.

In contrast, the locally assembled Honda SH 350i, officially distributed by Honda Vietnam, has a starting price of VND 151.2 million, which is considerably lower than the imported version.

The Honda SH, imported from Italy, is offered in four color options: white, silver, gray (matte), and red. Notably, the red color is a new addition, not previously available on SH 350i models manufactured in Vietnam. This unique color option is a distinctive feature, allowing easy differentiation between the two versions and providing a novel choice for customers seeking exclusivity.

In addition to the color options, the imported model also boasts a range of official European accessories, including a clear windshield, handlebar protection, and a rear storage box with a backrest. These accessories are not yet available on the domestically assembled version.

In terms of overall design, the imported SH 350i and the locally assembled model are almost indistinguishable. The imported SH 350i shares the same dimensions: 2,160 x 742 x 1,160 mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 1,450 mm, a seat height of 805 mm, and a weight of 172 kg.

Modern features are consistent between the two versions and include full LED lighting, an LCD instrument cluster, SmartKey smart key system, USB-C charging port, spacious under-seat storage, and a front compartment with LED lighting. The scooter rides on 16-inch six-spoke alloy wheels, shod in 110/70 front and 130/70 rear tires.

Powering the Honda SH 350i 2025 imported model is the same eSP+ 330cc liquid-cooled engine, delivering 28.8 horsepower and a peak torque of 31.5 Nm. Notably, to comply with the Euro 5+ emission standards in Europe, the engine has been fine-tuned with a new Engine Control Unit (ECU) and an improved exhaust system, resulting in reduced emissions and optimized fuel combustion.

In the safety department, this premium scooter is equipped with a two-channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) for both front and rear brakes, as well as Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). The inclusion of HSTC, typically found on larger displacement motorcycles, enhances riding safety on slippery surfaces or during sudden acceleration.

With a significantly higher price tag than the domestically assembled version, the Honda SH 350i 2025 imported from Italy targets a niche market. Its appeal lies with enthusiasts who appreciate the prestige and exclusivity associated with the Italian-made SH models, which hold a revered status among Vietnam’s scooter enthusiasts.

The exact number of units imported in this batch is unclear, but it is likely to be a limited offering, creating a sense of exclusivity and potentially sparking a frenzy among SH enthusiasts, especially in major cities.
