Lynk & Co is a premium brand established by Geely and Volvo in 2017 with its first model, the 01. The brand is now under the management of Geely-owned Zeekr Technology. Lynk & Co’s current lineup consists of 10 models, offering a range of powertrains, including battery electric vehicles (BEV), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV), and internal combustion engines (ICE).

However, Lynk & Co-branded gasoline vehicles have seen relatively low sales in the Chinese market. Specifically, from January to April 2025, the Lynk & Co 01 gasoline model sold only 2,802 units. To boost sales, Lynk & Co has launched the 2025 edition of this compact SUV with notable upgrades and a limited-time discount program.

The 2025 Lynk & Co 01 is offered in three variants, with prices ranging from 149,800 to 181,800 Chinese yuan (approximately 524 to 636 million VND). However, customers who place orders before July 31, 2025, will be eligible for a limited-time discount of up to 31,000 yuan (approximately 108 million VND). This discount can be combined with the Chinese government’s vehicle replacement subsidy of 15,000 yuan (approximately 52 million VND) for individual customers who scrap their old gasoline vehicles.

With all the discounts applied, the starting price of the standard version drops to 103,800 yuan (approximately 363 million VND), which is comparable to the pricing of the Kia Morning and Hyundai Grand i10 base models in Vietnam.

Additionally, Lynk & Co is offering gifts to early buyers of the new 01 model, including a storage box, a thermos, and a small trolley, valued at approximately 507 yuan (approximately 1.7 million VND). The Pro version of the Lynk & Co 01 will also come with a free head-up display (HUD). After July 31, this feature will be available as an optional extra for 2,000 yuan (approximately 7 million VND).

The new Lynk & Co 01 features subtle exterior upgrades. As seen in previously released official images, the overall design remains unchanged. However, Lynk & Co has added new exterior details, such as elevated daytime running lights on both sides, inspired by the Northern Lights. The main headlights are seamlessly integrated with the grille, enhancing the front end’s presence and accentuating the vehicle’s character. Additionally, the black trim on the front bumper contributes to a sportier aesthetic.

The D-pillar slopes downward noticeably, contributing to a fashionable appearance. A new color option, Night Shadow Blue, has been introduced to cater to customers’ personalization preferences.

At the rear, the SUV features a full-width taillight design with vertical elements on both sides, complemented by a dual exhaust system below, creating a multi-layered visual effect.

The interior has been significantly upgraded with a larger 15.4-inch floating infotainment screen, a newly designed steering wheel, a more compact gear selector, and two wireless phone charging pads. These enhancements contribute to a more modern and convenient experience for the driver and passengers.

Under the hood, the Lynk & Co 01 upgrade is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline engine across all variants, delivering a maximum output of 251 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Lynk & Co 01 is also officially distributed in the Vietnamese market, but the pricing is significantly higher, starting at 999 million VND.
