June 11, 2025 – VinFast Announces May 2025 Business Results in Vietnam, with a Total of 11,496 Electric Vehicles Delivered, Bringing the Year-to-Date Domestic Sales to 56,187 Units.
The May 2025 business results continue to demonstrate the growth and appeal of VinFast’s electric vehicle range among domestic consumers. The VF 5, an A-segment electric SUV, was the most popular model with 4,232 units delivered in May 2025 alone.
The VinFast VF 5 offers the perfect balance for individual customers, young families, and first-time car buyers, while also being ideal for ride-sharing services due to its operational capabilities and optimized running costs. This versatility has made it a top choice for many. The consistent high sales of the VF 5 over the past months also affirm the rising trend towards higher-riding vehicles in the A-segment in the Vietnamese market.
In addition to the VF 5, the introduction of the mini SUV VF 3 in late 2024 has attracted a large number of young and stylish individual customers. VF 3 sales in May 2025 reached 3,950 units, making it VinFast’s second best-selling model for the month.
Following closely are the VF 6 and VF 7, with sales figures of 1,393 and 773 units, respectively. Positioned in the B-SUV segment, the VinFast VF 6 offers a well-balanced design, equipped with appropriate technology and features at an accessible price point, making it one of the most beloved choices for young families in Vietnam. Meanwhile, the VF 7 stands out in the C-SUV segment with its impressive design and powerful performance, appealing to young, charismatic, and accomplished individuals.
The larger SUV models, VF 8 and VF 9, also showed impressive growth compared to April. Additionally, the two models designed for ride-sharing services, the Herio Green and Nerio Green, continued to contribute significantly to VinFast’s total sales of 11,496 units in Vietnam in May 2025.
Year-to-date, the VF 3 is VinFast’s best-selling model in Vietnam, with 19,416 units delivered to customers. This is closely followed by the VF 5 with 18,752 units and the VF 6 with 7,307 units. These impressive results bring the total number of VinFast electric vehicles sold in Vietnam this year to 56,187, solidifying the company’s leading position in the domestic market.
