In recent months, a mysterious VinFast vehicle has been spotted undergoing road tests in Vietnam, sparking curiosity among the public.

While the identity of this prototype remains undisclosed, leaked images suggest a resemblance to the VinFast VF 9, the brand’s large electric SUV.

This prototype is likely a special edition of the VinFast VF 9, featuring several golden accents akin to previous exclusive models by VinFast, such as the Hỏa Long Độc Bản.
Specifically, it sports a golden logo on the hood and trunk lid, with the edition name in the same color at the bottom right of the trunk lid.

Additionally, this prototype features a unique front grille design, reminiscent of luxury brands, along with a revised front and rear bumper and distinctive lighting signatures.

Other exterior elements remain consistent with the standard VinFast VF 9, including the LED taillights, alloy wheels, and side window glass.
This model is expected to be based on the high-end VinFast VF 9 Plus, offering a combined output of 402 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque from its dual-motor setup. A 123 kWh lithium-ion battery provides an impressive WLTP-rated range of 602 kilometers on a single charge.

Specific details about this model are still under wraps. VinFast has, however, teased the launch of a new VF 9 for the Vietnamese market on June 20. This special edition is anticipated to carry a premium over the standard VF 9 Plus, which is priced at VND 1,699 billion.
