BMW unveiled the updated M4 Competition Coupe xDrive at the MY BMW World 2025 event.

This is the first time the updated BMW M4 Competition Coupe G82 has been introduced to the Southeast Asian market after its global launch in August 2024.

The updated BMW M4 Competition Coupe G82 features vertical LED daytime running lights integrated into the adaptive LED headlights, a new characteristic of the LCI model. The car’s hood sports bold, sporty graphics, along with M Lights Shadowline and extended M High-Gloss Shadowline trim.

The carbon fiber roof is a standard feature, reducing weight while enhancing the car’s sporty character. At the rear, the car is equipped with laser taillights, previously seen on the limited-edition M4 CSL, offering a unique and modern visual signature.

The car sits on 19-inch forged alloy wheels at the front and 20-inch at the rear, coupled with high-performance M Compound brakes in glossy red.

The interior is equally impressive, featuring a sporty design. The blue seats with yellow accents create a striking visual effect. The M steering wheel has been updated with a three-spoke design, a flat bottom, and a 12 o’clock marker, typical of high-performance cars. However, the most notable feature of this mid-life update is the BMW Curved Display, consisting of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch central display, running on the BMW OS 8.5 with a custom M-specific interface.

Additionally, the dashboard and center console are adorned with M carbon fiber trim, while the ceiling is covered in Alcantara in charcoal gray, and the controls are finished in glossy metal, creating a sporty yet luxurious driving environment.

Under the hood of the BMW M4 Competition Coupe G82 lies a 3.0L I6 S58 twin-turbo engine, producing 530 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. This is a 20 horsepower increase compared to the rear-wheel-drive M4 Competition, a privilege of the xDrive AWD system. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reach 0-200 km/h in 11.8 seconds. The engine is paired with an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission and an M Sport differential.

The 2025 BMW M4 Competition Coupe xDrive is priced at 878,800 RM (approximately 5.4 billion VND), excluding insurance in Malaysia. With an extended 5-year warranty and maintenance package, the price increases to 930,900 RM (approximately 5.71 billion VND).
