On June 19, 2025, BYD Vietnam Automotive Co., Ltd. (BYD Vietnam) officially announced its strategic collaboration with Be Group, the operator of the multi-service application BE, to launch an exclusive benefits program for ride-hailing drivers. This initiative is part of the comprehensive support framework called BE5X.
As a result, beCar drivers who purchase BYD electric vehicles will be entitled to the following benefits:
- Discounts ranging from 20 to 80 million VND depending on the model;
- Free 7 kW wall charger, 2.2 kW portable charger, and V2L converter;
- Extended battery warranty up to 500,000 km (compared to the standard 160,000 km);
- Free up to 6 standard maintenance services;
- Performance bonus of 1 million VND per month upon completing 150 trips (applicable from the 7th to the 24th month);
- Free PRO upgrade for the first 12 months.
This program is exclusively implemented through the BE5X center – a driver support platform developed by Be Group.
“BYD and BE share a common vision and mission: to contribute to the sustainable development of a greener future for Vietnam,” said Mr. Vo Minh Luc, Executive Director of BYD Vietnam. “We believe that technology is not just about innovation but also a tool to serve daily life, from commuting to essential delivery and transportation.”
Representing Be Group, Mr. Hoang Cong Huan, Director of Business Development and Strategic Projects, stated, “Through our technology platform and operational ecosystem, BE5X helps automotive brands reach their target customers, shortening market testing time and optimizing expansion costs.”
BYD officially entered the Vietnamese market in July 2024. So far, BYD has introduced 7 new energy vehicle models to Vietnamese customers, including 6 pure electric vehicles and 1 plug-in hybrid model. The current BYD lineup in Vietnam consists of the Atto 3, Seal, Han, Dolphin, M6, Sealion 6, and Sealion 8.
This June 2025, BYD is offering promotions for two of its electric vehicle models: the Atto 3 and Seal. Specifically, the standard Dynamic version of the BYD Atto 3 comes with gifts worth 80 million VND. Meanwhile, the premium Premium version offers gifts valued at 20 million VND and interest-free loans for the first two years at VPBank.
For the BYD Seal, both the Advanced and Performance versions are eligible for gifts worth 60 million VND, along with interest-free loans for the first two years at VPBank.
Additionally, BYD provides a free 6-year standard maintenance package worth 6 million VND for customers purchasing these two electric vehicle models. In total, the benefits for the BYD Atto 3 and Seal can amount to up to 86 million VND.
This program applies to the 2024 production year models of the BYD Atto 3 and Seal to clear inventory.
