Peugeot has unveiled the third-generation 5008 with a unique configuration: a seven-seat hybrid SUV.
The new Peugeot 5008 is offered in two variants: Allure and GT Premium, with a starting price of 55,990 AUD (approximately 952.46 million VND). It targets customers who value practicality and fuel efficiency, while desiring a modern design and a comfortable interior.
The 2025 Peugeot 5008 is built on the modern STLA Medium platform, sharing its architecture with models like the Peugeot 3008, Opel Grandland, and Citroën C5 Aircross. This platform is electrification-friendly and aligns with Stellantis’ global strategy for electric vehicle development.
In terms of interior, the cabin features a striking 21-inch HD curved screen that integrates the digital instrument cluster and central infotainment system. It also boasts a sporty steering wheel, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, AI voice control, and over-the-air software updates (OTA).
The high-end GT Premium trim offers Nappa leather-upholstered front seats with 10-way electric adjustment, massage and cooling functions, and adaptive Pixel LED headlights.
Practicality remains a key focus in the 5008, with the second-row seats capable of sliding and folding in a 60:40 split, and individual backrest adjustments for enhanced daily versatility.
In Australia, the 2025 Peugeot 5008 is available exclusively as a mild hybrid (MHEV). It is powered by a 1.2L turbocharged three-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor integrated into the e-DCS6 transmission (electrified six-speed dual-clutch transmission), delivering a combined output of 143 horsepower. This configuration offers a balance between performance and fuel efficiency.
