Recently, images of a luxurious Bentley Mulsanne parked in a lot near a football field on Nguyen Tu Gian Street in Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem district have caught the attention of car enthusiasts.
The exterior of this Bentley Mulsanne will undoubtedly sadden many, as it is in a state of disrepair with four damaged air suspension struts and a coating of dust, suggesting that it has been abandoned for months, if not years. Fortunately, the wheel logos, wipers, and even the side mirrors remain intact.
When these cars were first imported into Vietnam, the Bentley Mulsanne had a price tag ranging from 16 to 25 billion VND (over $670,000 to $1 million). Therefore, it is a pity to see one abandoned, with its reason unknown.
This particular Bentley Mulsanne features a stunning two-tone paint job in gray and cream. Its exterior stands out with its asymmetrical round headlamp design. The vertical taillights, large multi-spoke chrome wheels, and other distinctive features make this older model a head-turner.
The older Bentley Mulsanne is powered by a 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that delivers a maximum output of 505 horsepower and a whopping 1,020 Nm of torque at a low 1,750 rpm.
This 2.5-ton luxury car, a rival to the Rolls-Royce Ghost, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 296 km/h.
