According to some sources, the Vietnamese automotive market is expected to welcome a new entrant in the C-segment SUV category with the introduction of the Omoda C7 2025.
The Omoda C7 2025 is anticipated to be launched in the third quarter, offering two engine options targeted towards younger consumers.
This SUV boasts impressive dimensions with a length of 4,660 mm, a width of 1,875 mm, and a height of 1,670 mm. Its wheelbase spans 2,720 mm. The dynamic design of this C-segment SUV is accentuated by its distinctive T-shaped LED daytime running lights and separate headlamp clusters. The large grille, adorned with polygonal patterns, serves as a prominent brand identifier.
Step inside the Omoda C7, and you’re greeted by a striking 15.6-inch central display, voice control functionality, 50-watt wireless charging, an eight-speaker audio system, and ambient lighting that sets the mood with adjustable colors.
Additionally, this SUV comes loaded with modern conveniences such as a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, an electronic gear selector, and flexible driving modes.
Under the hood, the Omoda C7 2025 packs a punch with two potent engine choices. The first is a 1.6-liter turbocharged TGDI gasoline engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The second option is a plug-in hybrid variant, employing the advanced Super Hybrid System (SHS) that combines a 1.5TGDI heat efficiency engine with a total output of 342 horsepower, enabling the SUV to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 9 seconds.
The 18.4 kWh battery provides an all-electric range of approximately 95 km, and when combined with the gasoline engine, offers a remarkable total range of up to 1,250 km. Even when the battery is depleted, the vehicle can still function as a traditional hybrid, delivering impressive fuel efficiency with a combined consumption of just 5.9 liters per 100 km.
