A rare sighting of a Lamborghini Gallardo was recently spotted in a prestigious residential area in Ben Luc town, Long An province. The supercar is owned by a long-time luxury car dealer from Ho Chi Minh City, who is a native of the province.
The owner frequently takes the Lamborghini Gallardo for a spin during the weekends, not just around Districts 1 and 5, but also in Long An, to both enjoy the drive and assess if any additional work is needed for this classic supercar.
There are almost 10 Lamborghini Gallardo supercars in Vietnam, but this particular one stands out for its age and the owner’s spirit of exploration. This speaks to the vehicle’s robust health and stability. To ensure the supercar stays in top condition, the owner has invested tens of thousands of dollars in a diagnostic machine specifically for the Lamborghini.
The Lamborghini Gallardo was produced from 2003 to 2013 and was the second model released under the Audi parent company. It was the best-selling Lamborghini at the time, with 14,022 units manufactured during its production run.
Named after a famous breed of fighting bull, the Gallardo was equipped with a V10 engine and became Lamborghini’s top-selling model, alongside a series of leading V12 models—first the Murciélago (4,099 units produced from 2001 to 2010), and later the Aventador.
On November 25, 2013, the last Gallardo rolled off the production line. It was replaced by the Huracan in 2014, which has also since been discontinued. However, the Huracan boasted impressive sales, with over 20,000 units produced, making it the Lamborghini with the most versions.
The Lamborghini Gallardo, produced from 2004 onwards, is equipped with a 5.0-liter V10 engine that delivers a maximum output of 493 horsepower and a peak torque of 510 Nm.
This “super bull” Lamborghini Gallardo can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and has a top speed of 309 km/h.
