Espero, a renowned motorcycle and electric scooter brand, has unveiled its latest offering in the Vietnamese market – the all-new 50cc Velia.

The Espero 50 Velia is priced competitively, starting at 23.5 million VND, on par with the Honda Wave RSX.

With its compact dimensions of 1,920 x 660 x 1,115 mm and a lightweight build of just 96 kg, this scooter is suitable for a wide range of users, especially those new to riding.

The Espero 50 Velia boasts a unique design, blending elements of the Honda Vision and SH models. Its sharp mask and sporty tail give it a youthful, urban aesthetic.

Velia is equipped with full LED lighting, including a bi-projector headlamp for improved visibility. The “ESPERO” logo, accented with a LED strip below the mask, adds a touch of elegance to the design.

The scooter also features a large LCD screen that displays speed, fuel level, trip meter, and time, along with malfunction alerts. Additional conveniences include a USB charging port, two storage compartments, and a striking red front brake caliper.

In terms of suspension, the Velia employs a telescopic fork at the front and a spring shock absorber at the rear, coupled with 14-inch alloy wheels and tubeless tires. Braking duties are handled by a front disc and rear drum setup.

Powering the Velia is a 49.4cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 3.9 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 3.2 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. With a top speed of 50 km/h, it’s well-suited for urban commuting. The fuel efficiency is impressive, with a consumption rate of just 1.8 liters per 100 km.

At a price point of 23.5 million VND, the Espero 50 Velia offers a compelling package in the 50cc segment. It’s an ideal choice for students, young adults, or anyone seeking a stylish, easy-to-ride, and economical scooter without the requirement of an A1 license.
