On June 30, 2025, Honda Vietnam celebrated a significant milestone as it rolled out its 40-millionth motorcycle, marking a new chapter in the company’s almost 30-year journey in the country. This momentous occasion was highlighted by the production of the Honda Vision, a popular model among Vietnamese consumers.

Honda reaches the 40-million milestone nearly three decades after its establishment in Vietnam.

This achievement builds upon Honda Vietnam’s rich history, which began in 1996 when the company was founded as a motorcycle manufacturer and distributor. The following year, in 1997, their first factory in Vinh Phuc commenced operations with an annual capacity of 500,000 units, introducing the Honda Super Dream to the market.

Fast forward to the present, and Honda Vietnam has expanded its operations to include three motorcycle manufacturing facilities, capable of producing 2.75 million units annually. As of May 2025, the localization rate for Honda motorcycles in Vietnam has reached an impressive 95%.
