Skoda has unveiled the new Karoq, a C-segment SUV offering. Two variants of the vehicle, the Premium and Sportline, are now available in Vietnam.

With dimensions of 4,390 x 1,841 x 1,603 mm (length x width x height) and a wheelbase of 2,638 mm, the Karoq is a compact yet spacious SUV.

The exterior of the Sportline variant boasts a sporty aesthetic with a hexagonal black grille, vertical slats, and body-colored front bumpers. The side mirrors, window frames, and 19-inch alloy wheels are also finished in sleek dark grey. At the rear, a stylish spoiler enhances the vehicle’s athletic stance.

In contrast, the Premium version showcases elegant chrome accents from front to back, complemented by 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the Karoq impresses with its upgraded interior, featuring leather upholstery with distinctive grey stitching. The front seats are electrically adjustable in 12 ways and can memorize three positions for added convenience. The Sportline model sports a 3-spoke steering wheel, while the Premium version offers a 2-spoke design. A modern 8-inch or 10.25-inch infotainment screen graces the dashboard.

Under the hood, both variants are powered by a 1.4 TSI Turbo gasoline engine, delivering 150 horsepower and a maximum torque of 250 Nm. This is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

Priced at 1,009 and 1,129 billion VND, respectively, the Skoda Karoq faces competition from established rivals such as the Hyundai Tucson, Honda CR-V, and Ford Territory, as well as European contenders like the Peugeot 3008 and Volkswagen Tiguan.
