Similar to its competitors in the same segment, the Mazda2 is also on offer with discounts this July 2025. The discount amount will depend on the version and year of manufacture.
Specifically, the Mazda2 Sedan is offered with a discount of VND 15 million for the 1.5L AT standard version. After the discount, the price of this B-segment sedan is only VND 403 million, which is cheaper than A-segment cars such as the Toyota Wigo, Hyundai Grand i10, and Kia Morning.
The remaining versions of the Mazda2 Sedan have smaller discounts, with VND 6 million off for the 1.5 Deluxe and VND 7 million for the 1.5 Luxury. The prices after discounts for these two versions are VND 453 million and VND 487 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the Mazda2 Sport has a discount of VND 8 million, bringing the price down to VND 529 million for the 1.5L Luxury version.
The above discounts are applicable for vehicles with a year of manufacture (VIN) of 2025. On the other hand, the Mazda2 Sport 1.5L Luxury with a 2024 VIN is being offered by dealers with a discount of up to VND 40 million, bringing the price down to VND 497 million.

Compared to June 2025, the discount for the Mazda2 is lower. Previously, dealers offered the standard version of the Mazda2 Sedan at a discounted price of VND 383 million, equivalent to a discount of VND 35 million.
It’s not just the Mazda2 that’s on offer, but other B-segment sedans like the Toyota Vios and Honda City also have promotions this July 2025. Toyota is offering a 50% discount on registration fees for the Vios, along with a gift of one year of body insurance, totaling VND 30-35 million in value.
As for the Honda City, the company is offering a 100% discount on registration fees for all three versions this month. This saves customers between VND 50 and 57 million. Overall, the Honda City currently offers the most attractive discounts in its segment.
The Mazda2 has maintained stable sales in the Vietnamese market. In May 2025, 439 units were sold, surpassing the Honda City and only trailing the Toyota Vios and Hyundai Accent. Cumulative sales for the first five months of this year reached 1,935 units, ranking fourth in the segment after the Toyota Vios (4,206 units), Honda City (3,266 units), and Hyundai Accent (2,602 units).
In addition to its more affordable price compared to the three aforementioned competitors, the Mazda2 also boasts eye-catching design and reasonable convenience and safety features. Unfortunately, one significant drawback is its cramped interior space.
The Mazda2’s features are not far behind its rivals, including LED lights, 16-inch wheels, a 7-inch central touch screen, a six-speaker audio system, paddle shifters behind the steering wheel, automatic single-zone climate control, auto-dimming interior mirror, blind-spot monitoring system, and rear cross-traffic alert (RCTA).
The Mazda2 is powered by a Skyactiv-G 1.5L four-cylinder gasoline engine that produces a maximum of 110 horsepower and 144 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
