The all-new Ferrari Amalfi, a 2+ V8 coupé with a front-mid-engine layout that replaces the Ferrari Roma in the marque’s product range, has officially been unveiled.
The Ferrari Amalfi supercar is officially unveiled, ending the story of the Roma
The Ferrari Amalfi redefines contemporary sports car design, blending high performance, agility, and exquisite beauty. Designed for customers who want to experience thrilling sports car dynamics without compromising on comfort and style, the Ferrari Amalfi stands out for its unprecedented balance between excitement and daily usability.
Exterior Design
The Ferrari Amalfi represents a new approach to the 2+ Berlinetta coupé with a front-mid-engine V8 layout, blending tradition and innovation in its design language while advancing the aesthetic standards of the Maranello brand.
The Ferrari Styling Centre team, led by Flavio Manzoni, drew inspiration from the sleek proportions of the Ferrari Roma, taking them further to create a more sculpted and modern shape while retaining the essence of Ferrari’s 2+ sports cars.
The front of the car, devoid of a traditional grille, features a floating wing in the body color positioned above a dark recessed band that cleverly integrates the sensors and headlight assemblies. A lower splitter completes the front end, emphasizing the visual width and sporting character.
The rear of the car is defined by a prominent surround that wraps around the back, ending in a sleek and refined design. The taillights are hidden within minimalist cuts in the bodywork, recalling classic Ferraris but with a modern design language.
The diffuser is designed with an extended profile to enhance aerodynamics, while the rearview mirror is seamlessly integrated with the rear spoiler, creating a distinctive design signature.
Highlighting the car’s personality, the launch color – Verde Costiera – is a vibrant emerald green inspired by the reflections of the Amalfi coast, accentuating the sculpted surfaces and lending a fresh, vibrant look.
Interior
Inside, the Ferrari Amalfi features a dual-cockpit layout with a simplified, sophisticated, and modern design language, utilizing premium materials and cutting-edge technology.
For the first time, the dashboard is designed with a monolithic layout, where the instrument cluster and air vents are combined into a single unit. The central control cluster, crafted from a single block of anodized aluminum, appears to float and houses the shift paddles, key slot, wireless charging area, and auxiliary controls.
The door handles are subtly integrated into sail-inspired shapes that define the forward compartments, while the woofer speakers are cleverly concealed behind perforated aluminum surfaces, contributing to an aesthetically pleasing and refined visual effect.
The interior color palette reflects the car’s strong character, with material and color combinations that emphasize the sports concept. Verde Bellagio, a striking green used in the launch configuration, draws attention to the front of the cockpit.
The optional Comfort seats are available in three sizes and feature 10 air chambers for massage functionality – with five modes and three intensity levels – along with ventilation for both the seat and backrest. Completing the in-car experience, the Burmester Premium Audio System delivers exceptional sound quality through 14 speakers and 1,200 watts of power. Round tweeters ensure crisp high notes, while three preset sound modes allow users to personalize their audio experience.
The Ferrari Amalfi is designed to offer an intuitive, engaging, and technologically advanced driving experience, thanks to an entirely new HMI system and a range of solutions aimed at enhancing in-car comfort.
The new steering wheel, equipped with physical buttons, marks the return of push-button controls, with a layout designed to ensure maximum ergonomics and ease of use in all driving conditions. On the left, the iconic aluminum start button instantly connects the driver to the car from the moment of ignition.
The control buttons are logically distributed: the left spoke features ADAS, adaptive cruise control, phone, and voice command buttons, while the right spoke houses the display mode selector, wiper controls, and screen buttons. Behind the wheel are two rotary knobs for volume and channel selection.
The HMI system comprises three main screens. The 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster provides all the information related to the car’s performance and dynamics.
At the center of the dashboard, a 10.25-inch capacitive touchscreen allows both the driver and passenger to access key functions: multimedia, radio, phone, screen mirroring, climate control, seat adjustments, and vehicle settings. Finally, the 8.8-inch passenger screen offers a co-driver experience by displaying parameters such as G-forces and engine rpm.
Connectivity is ensured through built-in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, while wireless phone charging is located in the central control cluster. The car also features the MyFerrari Connect system, enabling remote vehicle status monitoring through a dedicated app.
Powertrain
The Amalfi is powered by Ferrari’s latest 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. This powerplant generates 631 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and delivers a maximum torque of 760 Nm.
The Amalfi’s engine produces 20 more horsepower than the Roma. It is paired with a new 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, enabling the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 320 km/h.
