The Hyundai Creta has just launched its upgraded version in Vietnam, introducing the N Line model for the first time with sportier design elements and a price tag of 715 million VND.
Within this price range, besides the Hyundai Creta N Line, Vietnamese consumers have a plethora of automotive options to choose from, ranging from sedans to similarly-sized SUVs or those in higher segments.
Mazda CX-5 Deluxe – 714 million VND
The Mazda CX-5, a C-segment SUV, offers seven locally-assembled versions in Vietnam, with a starting price of 749 million VND for the 2.0L Deluxe variant. However, with ongoing promotions, the standard version of the Mazda CX-5 is now available for 714 million VND, making it slightly more affordable than the Hyundai Creta N Line.
Being positioned in the C-segment gives the Mazda CX-5 an advantage over the Hyundai Creta in terms of size and engine specifications. The Mazda CX-5’s dimensions measure 4,590 x 1,845 x 1,680 mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm.
Under the hood, the Mazda CX-5 Deluxe is equipped with a SkyActiv-G 2.0L engine that delivers a maximum output of 154 horsepower and a peak torque of 200 Nm.

Even in its most affordable variant, the Mazda CX-5 boasts LED projector headlights, automatic headlights and wipers, leather seats, and power-adjustable driver’s seat, although it lacks the memory function. Some safety features from the i-Activsense package have been omitted, and the 2.0 Deluxe variant does not include a 360-degree camera.
With its diverse range of versions and competitive pricing, the Mazda CX-5 has consistently been the best-selling C-segment SUV in Vietnam for an extended period. As of April, the Mazda CX-5 has sold 4,438 units to Vietnamese customers.
Kia K3 1.6 Turbo GT – 689 million VND
In the C-segment sedan category, the Kia K3 stands out for its youthful and modern exterior design. There are four variants of the Kia K3 available in Vietnam, including the 1.6 Turbo GT, which is currently priced at 689 million VND.
The Kia K3 1.6 Turbo GT’s dimensions measure 4,640 x 1,800 x 1,450 mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. Compared to the Hyundai Creta N Line, the Kia K3 C-segment sedan falls short in terms of height and ground clearance but excels in length, width, and wheelbase.
|
The 1.6 Turbo GT variant is powered by a 1.6L turbocharged engine that generates 201 horsepower and 265 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
As the highest-spec variant of the Kia K3 in Vietnam, this model features full LED lighting technology. The 1.6 Turbo GT also sports a GT-style body kit and a rear spoiler for a sportier appearance.
The interior boasts leather seats, with power adjustment and memory function for the driver’s seat. The front seats are heated and ventilated, and the car is equipped with a sunroof, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, and automatic climate control, although it only has a rearview camera and lacks a 360-degree camera.
With its multiple variants and competitive pricing, the Kia K3 has been performing relatively well in terms of sales, although not explosively so. In the first four months, the Kia K3 sold 650 units in Vietnam, trailing behind the Mazda3, which recorded sales of 865 units during the same period.
Mitsubishi Xforce Ultimate – from 705 million VND
Once regarded as a “super rookie” upon its launch in March, the Mitsubishi Xforce has consistently made its presence known in the best-sellers list. In fact, this Indonesia-imported B-segment SUV surpassed the Hyundai Creta, Toyota Corolla Cross, and Toyota Yaris Cross to become the top-selling model in its segment last year.
The Mitsubishi Xforce is currently offered in four variants in Vietnam. The range-topping Ultimate variant, which was introduced later, starts at 705 million VND for the single-tone color option and increases to 710 million VND for the two-tone color option.

The Mitsubishi Xforce boasts dimensions of 4,390 x 1,810 x 1,660 mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. Notably, the Ultimate variant has a ground clearance of 222 mm.
Some notable features of the Xforce Ultimate include LED projector headlights with automatic leveling, automatic wipers, an electric tailgate, and a Yamaha audio system. The top-spec variant also comes with a 12.3-inch central infotainment screen, electronic parking brake, Autohold function, dual-zone automatic climate control with air filtration, and leather seats with heat-reducing properties. The rear seats can be reclined in eight different positions.
In terms of safety, the Ultimate variant is equipped with adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation and warning, and front vehicle start alert. Active yaw control is standard across all variants of the Mitsubishi Xforce in Vietnam.
In the first four months of the year, the Mitsubishi Xforce sold 2,545 units in Vietnam, second only to the Toyota Yaris Cross in cumulative sales.
Hyundai Creta N Line – 715 million VND
This is the first time the Hyundai Creta N Line has been introduced in Vietnam. However, the 10 million VND price difference between the Creta N Line and the High variant only brings cosmetic changes to the exterior and minor upgrades to the cabin.
Specifically, the N Line model features 18-inch alloy wheels, red accents on the front and rear bumpers and side skirts, and a rear spoiler. Inside, the Hyundai Creta N Line has red accents around the dual-screen setup, a unique N-branded gear knob, and paddle shifters mounted behind the steering wheel.

Unlike the N Line version available in the Philippines, the Hyundai Creta N Line in Vietnam is not equipped with the turbocharged 1.5L engine that produces 158 horsepower and 253 Nm of torque. As a result, the driving experience of the N Line variant in Vietnam remains similar to that of the other Creta models, relying on a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine that generates 115 horsepower and 144 Nm of torque.
Alongside the N Line variant priced at 715 million VND, the 2025 Hyundai Creta lineup in Vietnam includes three other variants: Standard (599 million VND), Special (659 million VND), and High (705 million VND).
With a cumulative sales figure of 2,269 units in the first four months, the Hyundai Creta currently ranks third among the best-selling B-segment SUVs in Vietnam.
