The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Procuracy has recently completed an indictment, charging Phan Cong Khanh (31 years old, from Vinh Long) with fraud and property appropriation. Mohamach Da Pha (29 years old, from An Giang) has been indicted on charges of fraud and abuse of trust, resulting in property appropriation.
According to the indictment, due to business losses and a need to repay debts, Phan Cong Khanh, Huynh Xuan Van (currently at large), and Mohamach Da Pha conspired to deceive and appropriate a McLaren 650S Spider worth VND 7.1 billion from Ms. L.N.T.H.
Additionally, Phan Cong Khanh and Van deceived Mr. T.H.P. by claiming that their company, Khanh-Supper, had purchased a Brabus G800 vehicle. This led Mr. T.H.P. to agree to buy the car for VND 24.5 billion. However, after receiving the money, Khanh evaded contact and used the funds for personal purposes. It was only after Mr. T.H.P. learned of Khanh’s arrest that he realized he had been deceived.
The dossier also reveals that Mohamach Da Pha borrowed a BMW car worth VND 870 million from Mr. L.T.S. and then pawned it for VND 1 billion, which he gave to Van. Pha falsely claimed to Mr. S. that he still possessed and used the vehicle.
Huynh Xuan Van, after committing the crime, fled and is currently wanted by the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency. He will be processed when captured.
Phan Cong Khanh, also known as Khanh Supper, gained prominence by opening a small showroom in Binh Chanh District and later a larger one on Tran Hung Dao Street in District 1. His showroom always displayed luxurious supercars from brands like McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, and Rolls-Royce, attracting wealthy customers.
Phan Cong Khanh made a lasting impression on supercar enthusiasts by importing the Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren Senna, and the racing supercar McLaren Senna GTR to Vietnam, and later exporting the latter back to Germany.
