VinFast Speeds Ahead: Delivering an Impressive 11,382 Electric Vehicles in June

VinFast, the leading Vietnamese automobile manufacturer, delivered an impressive performance in the domestic market during June 2025. With a total of 11,382 electric vehicles handed over to customers, the company solidified its position as the top-selling automotive brand in Vietnam.

The VinFast VF 3, a mini EV, continued its dominance as the best-selling model, recording 3,667 units sold. Closely following was the VF 5, with a sales figure of 3,060 units. For the first half of 2025, the VF 3 and VF 5 maintained their lead as the top-selling electric vehicles in Vietnam, with cumulative sales of 23,083 and 21,812 units, respectively.

The VF 3 and VF 5’s popularity can be attributed to their affordable pricing, compact design, optimized urban performance, and low operating costs, making them ideal for the mass market. These strategic models are integral to VinFast’s mission to make electric vehicles accessible to a wider Vietnamese audience.

In June 2025, the VF 6, a B-segment SUV, secured the third position in sales with 1,245 units delivered. For the first six months of the year, the VF 6 maintained a strong performance, recording 8,552 units sold.

The VF 7, another notable model, found its place in the market with 725 units sold in June 2025, bringing its year-to-date sales to 3,586 units. Additionally, VinFast’s Green line of vehicles, comprising the Herio Green and Nerio Green, designed specifically for passenger transportation services, contributed significantly to the company’s overall performance. In June, 916 units of the Herio Green and 1,415 units of the Nerio Green were delivered to customers.

Furthermore, VinFast inaugurated its second electric vehicle manufacturing facility in Vung Ang Economic Zone, Ha Tinh province. This new plant will focus on producing small electric vehicles, including the VF 3, Minio Green, EC Van, and upcoming models, catering to both domestic and international markets.

In line with its commitment to localization, VinFast hosted a conference aimed at enhancing domestic sourcing and supplier development, with a target of achieving over 80% localization by 2026.

Maintaining a monthly sales volume of over 11,000 units and witnessing strong market acceptance for its compact models, VinFast is successfully realizing its vision of electric vehicle accessibility. With this consistent growth trajectory, the company is poised to maintain its leadership in Vietnam’s electric vehicle market in the foreseeable future.
