According to reports, Wuling is gearing up to launch a new electric vehicle model named the Bingo S EV.

The Bingo S EV is expected to be priced between 80,000 and 100,000 Chinese yuan (approximately $12,150 to $15,190). This model is positioned as a direct competitor to the BYD Dolphin in the small, affordable electric vehicle segment.

The Bingo S EV has overall dimensions of 4,265 mm in length, 1,785 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,610 mm.

The Wuling Bingo S EV sports a modern retro design aesthetic. The front of the vehicle stands out with its unique trapezoidal headlights. The overall body design is simple, sleek, and free of excessive lines, creating a compact and easily recognizable silhouette, perfect for urban environments.

The roof, A-pillars, and lower body trim are painted black, creating a striking contrast with the main body color. Additionally, a subtle silver trim line runs along the lower body, adding a touch of sophistication to the exterior design.

At the rear, a full-width LED taillight bar with a three-dimensional design and vertical reflectors on the bumper contribute to a modern and distinctive look. The door handles and side mirrors retain a traditional style to optimize costs.

The vehicle is fitted with stylish 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels, adding to its youthful and dynamic appeal.

The Wuling Bingo S EV is powered by a single electric motor, delivering an impressive 101 horsepower. It can reach a top speed of 150 km/h, an exceptional figure for its price range. The battery employed is a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) type, although specific capacity and range figures have not yet been disclosed by the manufacturer.

Scheduled for launch in the Chinese market in the third quarter of this year, the Wuling Bingo S EV, with its unique design, well-appointed features, and accessible pricing, is expected to build on the success of the Mini EV and further solidify Wuling’s presence in the small electric vehicle segment.
