After about a month of taking deposits from authorized dealers, the mid-size SUV Lynk & Co 08 has officially arrived in Vietnam, marking the final preparation before its market launch in Q3 2025.
The Lynk & Co 08 sold in Vietnam will be a completely built-up import from China. It is developed on the new-generation CMA Evo platform with overall dimensions of 4,820 x 1,915 x 1,685 mm and a long wheelbase of 2,848 mm.
Lynk & Co 08 boasts a modern design with a distinctive highlight in the form of a curved LED daytime running light strip that extends from the hood to the A-pillar, creating a unique visual effect. The main headlights are slender and connected by an LED strip running across the front, along with a closed grille and a large air intake in the front bumper, giving it a contemporary and tech-savvy look.
The car’s body stands out with hidden door handles, frameless windows, 21-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels, and a sloping roof that improves aerodynamics and enhances the vehicle’s aerodynamic performance.
The rear of the car features taillights that are synchronized with the front design, stretching along both sides of the rear, complemented by a sporty diffuser and a glossy black lower bumper.
The Lynk & Co 08 has a 5-seat configuration, and its interior boasts a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.4-inch central touchscreen, and a 92-inch borderless HUD that incorporates augmented reality technology.
The rear passengers benefit from ample legroom thanks to the lengthy wheelbase. The front seats are equipped with heating, ventilation, and massage functions.
Additionally, the SUV offers other conveniences such as a panoramic sunroof, a 23-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with four simulated space modes, and generous phone charging options: 60W wired and 50W wireless charging for the front seats. It also features ambient lighting that can be customized to the user’s preference.
According to sales consultants, the Lynk & Co 08 in Vietnam will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, consisting of a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and an electric motor, generating a combined output of 345 horsepower. This setup is paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
A standout feature is the ternary lithium battery with a capacity of 39.6 kWh, enabling the SUV to travel up to 200 kilometers on pure electric power (based on the CLTC standard in China). In combined mode (using both the battery and gasoline engine), the car can achieve an impressive total range of 1,100 kilometers, making it ideal for extended journeys.
Although the company has not made an official announcement, sources suggest that the Lynk & Co 08 in Vietnam will be available in two versions, with an expected price of around 1.5 billion VND.
