The rare Koenigsegg CCX, a million-dollar supercar, caused a stir among Vietnam’s automotive enthusiasts and young car enthusiasts alike when it unexpectedly appeared in a specialized showroom in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City.
This supercar showroom, already a hotspot for car enthusiasts, especially in the mornings due to the frequent appearances of “Qua” Vu, has been buzzing with photographers for the past two days, all eager to capture the Koenigsegg CCX undergoing detailing within the showroom.
This is currently the only showroom featuring a hypercar, and it is likely that once the detailing is complete, the Koenigsegg CCX will be returning to Haiphong with its owner unless a special deal is struck.
With only 30 Koenigsegg CCX ever produced globally, and several of them having been involved in serious accidents, resulting in severe structural damage, the rarity of this supercar is unquestionable.
This Koenigsegg CCX, owned by a Haiphong businessman, was registered late last year, marking the end of a 6-year wait for its number plate—a new record, previously held by the McLaren Elva, which took nearly 3 years.
The Koenigsegg CCX is powered by a 4.7-liter V8 supercharged engine, producing a maximum output of 800 horsepower, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. This combination enables the hypercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 402 km/h.
