The highly anticipated mid-life upgrade of the Hyundai Stargazer line-up is set to make its debut at the upcoming Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025, opening on July 24. As predicted, not only the regular Stargazer but also the sportier X variant will be upgraded.
Prior to its launch, the Hyundai Stargazer X 2026 was spotted on the streets of Indonesia, revealing its exterior design. The images showcase some distinct differences in styling compared to the regular model.

Specifically, the Hyundai Stargazer X 2026 features a sportier front grille, bumpers, alloy wheels, and roof rails compared to the standard model. The front bumper incorporates wider air intakes at the corners, and both the front and rear bumpers are accented with angular silver trim.

Additionally, the Hyundai Stargazer X boasts multi-spoke black alloy wheels. These wheels are housed within black plastic wheel arch claddings, which are not offered on the regular Hyundai Stargazer 2026.
Similar to the standard Stargazer, the Hyundai Stargazer X 2026 features refined “H”-shaped headlights, creating a cohesive look with the rear combination lamps. The rear combination lamps have also been refreshed and are connected by a high-mounted LED light bar.

Details regarding the technical specifications, features, and equipment of the Hyundai Stargazer X 2026 are yet to be revealed. However, it is expected that the Stargazer X will offer a higher ground clearance and enhanced convenience and safety features compared to the regular model.
The engine specifications of the Hyundai Stargazer X 2026 remain a mystery. It is likely that the vehicle will retain the same powertrain as the previous model. If so, it will be powered by a 1.5L Smartstream 4-cylinder gasoline engine, producing a maximum output of 113 horsepower.
The dimensions of the Hyundai Stargazer X 2026 are expected to remain unchanged from its predecessor. Thus, it should retain the measurements of 4,495 mm in length, 1,815 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,780 mm and a ground clearance of 200 mm.
Following its launch in Indonesia, the Hyundai Stargazer and Stargazer X 2026 are expected to make their way to other Southeast Asian markets, including Vietnam. Currently, the Hyundai Stargazer X is available in Vietnam, with prices ranging from 559 to 599 million VND for two different variants. In contrast, the standard Hyundai Stargazer is offered at a more affordable price point of 489 million VND, making it one of the most competitive options in the MPV segment. The Hyundai Stargazer continues to be imported from Indonesia, unlike other Hyundai models that are assembled locally by Hyundai Thanh Cong.
