Toyota Announces Outstanding Sales Performance in the First Half of 2025

This is the result of efforts to promote production and business activities while actively contributing to the community in various fields.

Toyota’s performance from January – 6/2025

In terms of sales, Toyota Vietnam delivered 30,078 vehicles in the first half of 2024 (including Lexus), up 31% compared to the same period in 2024.

In terms of production, Toyota produced 12,914 vehicles, up 15% over the same period last year.

In terms of service, Toyota welcomed nearly 945,000 customers, demonstrating the trust and companionship of consumers towards the brand over the past time.

This year also marks the 30th anniversary of Toyota in Vietnam. Marking this milestone, Toyota Vietnam is proud to be the first automotive manufacturer in Vietnam to achieve impressive cumulative results such as 20 million vehicles using official after-sales services on 05/02/2025, 700,000 vehicles produced on 19/03/2025, and 1 million vehicles sold on 01/07/2025.

Toyota’s component and spare part export activities achieved a revenue of over $37 million, up 29% over the same period last year, with cumulative revenue reaching nearly $959 million.

In terms of state budget contribution, Toyota Vietnam contributed over $454 million in the first half of the year, nearly triple the amount compared to the same period in 2024. The total state budget contribution accumulated to over $14.4 billion.

Efforts to contribute to the Vietnamese automotive and supporting industries

Continue to deliver “Ever-better Cars”

Over the years, Toyota‘s products have been constantly improved and received the trust and acceptance of customers. In the first half of the year, the Yaris Cross and Vios models were among the top 10 best-selling vehicles in the market with sales of 5,420 units and 5,264 units, respectively. In addition, most Toyota models are among the best-selling models in their respective segments.

Actively accompany supporting industrial enterprises, contributing to the development of the automotive industry

Toyota is expected to continue its cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the sixth consecutive year, accompanying automotive supporting enterprises with the aim of improving capacity and strengthening links between domestic supporting enterprises and automotive assemblers, thereby increasing localization rates.

Currently, Toyota’s supplier list has reached 61, including 13 Vietnamese suppliers, with nearly 1,000 localized products of various kinds.

Efforts to accompany a “better society”

Developing the Multi-Pathway Approach Project

Towards the goal of carbon neutrality by 2050, Toyota has developed the Multi-Pathway Approach to reduce carbon emissions by offering diverse solutions that suit different conditions in terms of infrastructure, industry status, and customer needs in different regions. Globally, Toyota provides various electrification solutions such as Hybrid, Plug-in Hybrid, Battery Electric, and Fuel Cell Electric vehicles, while also developing different alternative energy options and fuel-efficient technologies to meet diverse customer needs.

According to Toyota’s perspective, Hybrid and biofuel are timely solutions suitable for the actual conditions in Vietnam, helping to reduce CO2 emissions immediately without waiting for infrastructure development or changing user habits.

In the first half of 2025, Hybrid vehicle sales reached 3,444 units with a lineup of 6 models – 7 versions across multiple segments, doubling the sales from the same period last year. As of now, a total of 17,268 Toyota Hybrid vehicles have been sold in the five years since its introduction in the Vietnamese market.

Maintain annual social contribution activities in multiple fields

Besides production and business activities, Toyota regularly carries out annual social contribution activities in 4 fields: Traffic Safety, Environmental Protection, Social Culture, and Education & Human Resources Development, with the desire to bring a better life to the community and contribute to the sustainable development of the country. To date, the total amount contributed to social activities by Toyota has amounted to over $31.6 million.

In the first half of the year, Toyota launched and implemented many activities such as “Toyota joins hands for traffic safety education”, “Tet tree planting – Eternal gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh”, and the “Toyota Cup U9 National Football Tournament”…

In recognition of these outstanding business achievements and social contributions, Toyota Vietnam was honored to receive the Outstanding Enterprise Award of Vinh Phuc Province in 2025 and the First Prize Flag for Outstanding Unit in the 2024 Emulation Movement presented by the People’s Committee of Vinh Phuc Province (now Phu Tho Province).
