The Porsche 911 has entered its 992.2 iteration, marking a mid-life cycle upgrade with a significant bump in pricing compared to its 992.1 predecessor. A handful of these 992.2 models have surfaced, mostly in coupe and convertible body styles.

One such Porsche 911 992.2, finished in a unique shade of Cartagena Yellow Metallic, has been delivered to an enthusiast based in the western region.

This is the only 911 in Vietnam sporting the vibrant Cartagena Yellow Metallic paintwork. The owner, a resident of Can Tho, has certainly made a bold choice with this eye-catching color.

Compared to the 992.1, Porsche has refined the exterior design of the 911 with carefully selected details, most of which aim to improve aerodynamics and overall performance. The standard LED Matrix headlights now integrate turn signals, eliminating the need for separate front indicators, and larger cooling air intakes grace the front end.

Porsche offers an optional new headlight design featuring HD-Matrix LED technology with over 32,000 pixels. These upgraded headlights can illuminate distances of more than 600 meters and provide additional functions such as curve lighting that adapts to the driving mode, lane and corner illumination, construction site and narrow lane lighting, and anti-glare high beams with pixel precision.

The redesigned taillight bar takes the form of an integrated light strip with the “Porsche” logo, giving the rear end of the 911 a deeper and more substantial appearance. The rear grille has also been redesigned with five fins on each side, seamlessly blending with the rear glass when the retractable spoiler is retracted.

The interior of the new 911 features a standard two-seat layout. For the first time, a new ignition button makes its appearance on the 911, positioned to the left of the steering wheel. The 911 boasts an all-digital instrument cluster offering seven display modes, including a Classic display exclusive to the 911 that features five circular instruments, with a central rev counter.

The Porsche 911 992.2 is powered by an improved twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine, producing 290 kW (394 PS) and 450 Nm of maximum torque. The new 911 Carrera sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds (3.9 seconds with the Sport Chrono package) and has a top speed of 294 km/h.
