Honda has officially named its new small electric vehicle the N-One e:.

The Honda N-One e: is expected to be unveiled in September at the IAA Mobility 2025 event in Munich, Germany. This information was confirmed after the vehicle appeared at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025 under the temporary name “Super EV.”

According to Honda, the N-One e: takes inspiration from the Nissan Cube, a vehicle that made an impression with its unique boxy design.

Based on the initial teaser images, the N-One e: boasts a compact and sleek exterior, reminiscent of the kei-car style, a popular choice for urban drivers in Japan. The front of the vehicle features distinctive round LED headlights, combining simplicity with modern aesthetics.

One notable feature is the presence of two charging ports on the N-One e:. Honda has not yet disclosed the specific function of the second charging port located at the front of the vehicle, sparking speculation about potential bi-directional charging capabilities or the integration of new technology.

According to Honda, the N-One e: is designed not just for practical urban mobility but also to offer a novel and exciting “pure electric” driving experience. The vehicle has undergone testing in the UK prior to its appearance at Goodwood Festival, indicating its proximity to the commercial production stage.

While Honda has not released detailed specifications such as power output, range, or charging time, their meticulous preparation and choice to debut the vehicle in the European market highlight their high expectations for this small electric car.

In addition to the N-One e:, Honda showcased a range of pure electric vehicles at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025. This included the 0 SUV concept from the 0 Series electric vehicle line, as well as two electric motorcycle concepts, the EV Fun and EV Urban, underscoring Honda’s commitment to expanding its electric vehicle ecosystem in the near future.

Honda’s proactive introduction of multiple electric vehicles at international events signifies their accelerated push towards electrification and their expansion into a diverse range of products, from motorcycles to small cars and SUVs, targeting global markets including Europe and Asia.
