Just before 10 a.m. on July 14, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred at the new intersection in Yen Son village, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province. A car’s dashcam captured the incident.
The video shows that at the aforementioned time, a motorbike with the license plate 98K1-176.66, driven by a woman whose identity is yet to be confirmed, was approaching the new intersection. Suddenly, a dump truck traveling in the same direction from behind sped up and made a right turn, colliding with the motorbike.
The impact caused the motorbike rider to fall onto the road and get run over by the dump truck’s wheels. Unfortunately, the motorbike rider succumbed to their injuries and died at the scene.

The accident video, which was shared on social media, quickly garnered hundreds of comments from viewers. The majority of netizens blamed the dump truck driver for making an unsafe turn, resulting in the tragic accident.
“The dump truck driver could have easily seen the motorbike,” commented T.D. “The dump truck is completely at fault,” added H.C.R. Others, like M.N., called for strict penalties, saying, “The dump truck driver was speeding and should be heavily fined.” T.Q.D. suggested, “The driver should be imprisoned and permanently banned from driving.” N.T.T. also remarked, “The truck overtook from the opposite lane to make the right turn. No wonder people say being a truck driver is a tough job.”
Some netizens also saw this as a stark reminder for other motorbike riders. “When I see a large vehicle, I slow down and let them go first. There’s no point in rushing alongside them,” shared M.T. Upon receiving the report, authorities promptly arrived at the scene to manage traffic, investigate the accident, and determine its cause.
