Typhoon number 3, with wind speeds of up to 62-74 km/h and gusts of up to 100 km/h, moved westward at a speed of 10-15 km/h, significantly impacting the lives of residents in Ninh Binh and Thanh Hoa provinces. The storm caused concern among locals about potential damage to their properties, prompting them to take precautionary measures.
On social media, a photo of a gray Range Rover with a Quang Ninh province license plate being backed into a shipping container by a man went viral. This unusual measure was taken to protect the valuable vehicle from the strong winds of Typhoon Number 3, which could potentially knock down trees and cause significant damage.
Netizens debated how the driver could exit the vehicle, given the narrow space left after parking it inside the container. Some suggested the use of a sunroof, allowing the driver to climb out and slide down the hood. Others proposed exiting through a window or, if none were present, reversing the car into the container and exiting through the trunk.
The Range Rover, a luxurious SUV, boasts a price range of several billion VND in Vietnam. The top-of-the-line model, the Range Rover SVAutobiography, features subtle differences from the standard model, including engraved Range Rover lettering at the front and rear, an SVAutobiography logo on the rear, and round exhaust pipes.
The SVAutobiography also stands out with its Special Vehicle Operations badge between the front and rear doors, an interior adorned with fragrant rosewood trim, premium leather upholstery, and sleek metal accents. It offers power-adjustable front seats with memory for 20 positions, four-zone automatic climate control, rear seats with integrated calf rests, a work table, and a state-of-the-art infotainment system with dual touchscreens and a Meridian 1,700-watt, 29-speaker sound system.
Under the hood, the Range Rover SVAutobiography is equipped with a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine that delivers an impressive 550 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque. This enables the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in just 5.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 225 km/h.
