The upgraded Ford Territory is set to make its debut in Brazil this July. According to international media, this upgraded model will soon be launched in the Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian markets, including Vietnam.

This time around, Territory has ditched the softer design elements reminiscent of the Equator Sport (Territory) in China, and instead, sports an upgraded look that aligns with global standards.

Upfront, the new Territory features a fresh look with newfangled claw-like headlights, replacing the predecessor’s multilayered setup. It also sports a horizontal chrome-accented grille for a sleek touch.

The taillights retain their original design, while the rear bumper has been refined with black trim for a sportier aesthetic. Ford has also updated the design of the 19-inch alloy wheels and chrome door handles.

Inside, the cabin maintains its familiar layout with two 12.3-inch screens seamlessly integrated. Detailed interior equipment specifications are yet to be announced.

In Brazil, the Ford Territory is exclusively offered in the Titanium trim, powered by a 1.5L EcoBoost turbocharged engine that produces 168 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, delivering power to the front wheels. The price of the new Territory in Brazil is approximately 38,900 USD.

Recently, test drive images of the new Territory have surfaced in Vietnam, showcasing a design consistent with the Brazilian model.

With deep discounts currently offered on the existing Territory in Vietnam, it’s likely that Ford Vietnam will introduce the upgraded model in the latter half of this year.

The pricing for the upgraded Territory remains undisclosed. Nonetheless, it will undoubtedly be a formidable contender in the C-segment SUV category, going up against the likes of the Hyundai Tucson, Mazda CX-5, Honda CR-V, and Mitsubishi Outlander. In Vietnam, the Ford Territory is available in four variants, with prices ranging from 759 to 889 million VND.
