Under the hood, the 2025 Subaru Forester offers two powertrain configurations. The standard model is equipped with a 1.8L turbocharged engine that produces 177 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission and a full-time 4-wheel drive system with X-MODE technology.

The Forester S:HEV hybrid version combines a 2.5L boxer engine with an 88 horsepower electric motor, resulting in a total output of 184 horsepower. This model boasts an impressive fuel economy of 18.8 km/l, as claimed by the manufacturer.

In terms of safety, the 2025 Forester is equipped with the latest EyeSight X active safety system, utilizing a combination of wide-angle cameras, radar, and stereo cameras to enhance its detection and response capabilities in emergency situations.
