Toyota has just officially unveiled the new Camry generation in Vietnam’s neighboring market.

Accordingly, the 2026 Toyota Camry is offered in a total of 15 versions, with prices ranging from 171,800 to 259,800 Chinese yuan (equivalent to 601 – 909 million VND).

In this new generation, Toyota has added the 2.0L Hybrid Sport Lite version to the Camry, featuring a sporty design and a more affordable price of 191,800 Chinese yuan (approximately 671 million VND). This expands the accessibility for younger customers who prefer the hybrid powertrain.

Overall, the 2026 Toyota Camry for the Chinese market retains a similar design to the global version. The 2.0L Hybrid Sport Lite edition is exclusively equipped with a sporty body kit, featuring a honeycomb grille, aggressive front bumper, black spoiler, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

The vehicle’s dimensions remain unchanged, with a length of 4,915 mm, a width of 1,840 mm, a height of 1,450 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,825 mm, ensuring spacious cabin space for both front and rear passengers.

The Camry 2026’s cabin boasts high-quality finishes. Certain versions offer interior color options of ivory white or aurora red, in addition to the classic black and amber brown. The car is equipped with conveniences such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather and suede upholstery, manual gearshift, heated and ventilated front seats, 64-color ambient lighting, an aromatherapy diffuser, and an IP pattern accent for a luxurious touch.

Additionally, the car features a 12.3-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay, Baidu CarLife, and Huawei HiCar integration. Some models utilize the Qualcomm 8155 chip, 12GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage for seamless performance. The dual-zone voice control system facilitates operations like climate control, window adjustment, and navigation. Remote vehicle control is also possible via a smartphone app, enabling functions such as remote unlocking, climate control activation, vehicle location, and service scheduling.

The 2026 Toyota Camry is equipped with the TSS 3.0 PRO safety package, which includes a panoramic view monitor (PVM) with an innovative “see-through” function that automatically activates when navigating through narrow roads. The automatic braking system has been enhanced to detect pedestrians, vehicles, or objects in the blind spot in real time.

The Camry 2026 in China continues to be developed on the TNGA-K platform, featuring MacPherson front suspension and dual-link rear suspension. A turning radius of 5.7 meters enhances the vehicle’s maneuverability in urban areas.

The Toyota Camry 2026 in China is offered with three powertrain options:

Firstly, a 2.0L gasoline engine producing 170 horsepower and 206 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a front-wheel drive and a CVT transmission. The fuel efficiency is rated at 5.81 liters per 100 kilometers.
Secondly, a hybrid system combining a 2.0L engine with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 194 horsepower. This powertrain is also front-wheel drive and utilizes an E-CVT transmission. Fuel consumption is an impressive 4.2 liters per 100 kilometers.

Lastly, a hybrid setup that pairs a 2.5L engine with an electric motor, resulting in a total output of 226 horsepower. This powertrain also employs a front-wheel drive configuration and an E-CVT transmission. Fuel efficiency is rated at 4.55 liters per 100 kilometers.
