A one-of-a-kind Ferrari 360 Modena limousine is up for sale in California, USA, with a “buy it now” price of $40,000, approximately 1.04 billion VND.

This is surprisingly low compared to the market value of Ferrari 360 Modena cars in the used car market.

First introduced in 1999, the Ferrari 360 Modena is an iconic supercar designed by Pininfarina. The car was in production until 2005, after which it was replaced by the Ferrari F430 and later the F8 Tributo. For Ferrari enthusiasts, the 360 Modena is a collectible item due to its classic design and pure driving experience.

The car on sale has a Giallo Modena yellow exterior and was converted into a stretched limousine in 2017 by Platinum Big Toys, a company specializing in modifying luxury and supercars for stretched limousine services. Interestingly, this modified car is still legally registered as a “taxi” in the US.

According to the seller, the Ferrari limousine has minor exterior damage and some unspecified mechanical issues. The images show scratches on the paintwork, window tint degradation, and other signs of weathering.

The interior also shows minor wear but remains largely intact. The black leather seats feature yellow quilted stitching and the traditional Ferrari prancing horse logo on the headrests. The modifiers have also added a central touch screen, an upgrade not available in the original 1999–2005 models.

The odometer reads approximately 59,390 km, a reasonable number for a car almost 20 years old, especially considering its commercial use.

Powering this Ferrari 360 Modena limousine is the same 3.6L naturally aspirated V8 engine, producing 400 horsepower and 373 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed F1-style semi-automatic transmission manufactured by Graziano, driving the rear wheels. Due to the significant lengthening of the body, the transmission system has likely been modified to ensure stable vehicle operation.

Currently, Ferrari 360 Modena cars with F1 6-speed transmissions are selling in the used car market for an average of $75,000 (1.96 billion VND) or more if in good condition.

Meanwhile, this modified limousine is currently being auctioned at $11,300 (over 296 million VND) but has not yet reached the seller’s reserve price. However, it can be purchased immediately for $40,000 (1.04 billion VND).
